Opinions And Assholes

I have this book on astrology. It gives a personality profile based on your date of birth including your year. It said I (the 76 Cancer) was a "Cuddly Critic"... I have an opinion for everything. Never had a book pegged me so well. I am opinionated! Unashamed and unapologetic. Does this get me in trouble? Not so much anymore. Had to learn that an unsolicited or unwanted opinion is just that... unwanted! I've also learned to read the signs. I'm always trying to avoid that look. You know the one...the "Bitch who asked you?" look. But I'm grateful to say that today most of my friends call me for my opinions...they value my unique take on things. Lately some friends have been asking me why I didn't blog "because you have a lot to say". And to this I say....I do. But my hesitation came when thinking about what I would blog about. Politics? I have a passing interest in politics, but nothing that would sustain a blog. Entertainment? I love entertainment and celebrity blogs... read them everyday...but I don't think I have anything new or fresh to add to the table. If you're not adding to the conversation then what's the point. And theirs nothing worse than being irrelevant. Then it came to me. You don't have to have a premise or a platform for your blog. Its just you...what you think...your opinions...your two cents, for whatever that's worth...not much in this economy. So... this is my blog... just my opinion on whatever random subject I'm feeling at the moment...Just my two cents.
