Here on my blog, I'd like to take time out to recognize the achievements in the field of DTM (doing the most). Doing the most...sometimes referred to as being extra, all out of pocket, swerving out your lane , or like my mama likes to say "just getting out of hand". So every week I will acknowledge someones contribution to the area of DTM, and present them with the SitchoAss Down Award or Travy. So named after my good friend Trav, who on the occassions when someone is doing the most in his presence will quickly yet very politely tell them to "have a seat".
The competition was very tough this week. I considered awarding Chris Brown with this honor, in light of his smug appearance in court this week, but I decided that all he should be the recipient of is an effin beat down. Just for the record, here on this blog were "Team Rihanna"! Were just waiting for her to join the team, but that's a whole other blog post.
So...this week's recipient of the very first SitchoAss Down Award or Travy, for his achievements in DTM and utter trumfoolery is.... YoBoiNewnue for his video "How In The Hell Are You Born Gay". In this video Newnue presumes to tell other gay people that they were not born gay and that homosexuality is a choice. He annoyed me thoroughly when he felt the need to be the official gay spokesperson. He later put out a follow up video, clarifying that he was only speaking for his own experiences. But here's the video that has made YoBoiNewnue our winner of the Travy for this week.
I had to also feature my good friend Porcelain's response video. He was so eloquent and fabulous and looked all types of scrumptious to boot. If you're not subscribed to him, then you're so missing out.
Where's Trav?? Has He read it??? Oh Dani i love this. Yeah newnue was all the rage over that one. But isn't it usual to stand by what you say "AFTER" you've thought your way through it? Yappin out the neck just isn't pretty at all.....!

ReplyDeleteI Love this idea for your Blog Danni! Travee and Porcelain deserve all the recognition. Travee videos touch me like no other because he speaks from the soul. Porcelain's response to NewNue's video was on point I loved it and how he did it with such elegance and looking damn good too..lol Keep doin yo thang Girl! Love ya

And that Newnue character...smh...I can't say that I'm surprised about his utter ignorance on this topic; there are millions of individuals who feel the way he does...there are also millions who think that they ARE the LGBT's spokespeople as well.
